What you will do
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans for web and API-based applications.
- Document test cases and results in Xray to ensure full traceability of requirements and defects.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across various services.
- Validate REST APIs using Swagger contracts and Postman.
- Execute and monitor integration tests with Apache Kafka to ensure data consistency.
- Collaborate with developers and Product Owners in an Agile Scrum environment and participate in CI/CD pipeline activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven experience in QA roles.
- Strong skills in SQL queries on PostgreSQL databases.
- At least 3 years of experience testing REST APIs and 3 years in E2E test automation with Playwright or Selenium.
- At least 2 years of experience in integration testing with Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in Git, GitHub Flow, and Agile methodologies.
- Spanish fluency required; English proficiency is a plus.
Nice to have
- ISTQB or similar testing certification.
- Experience with Oracle, MongoDB, and load/stress testing with K6.
- Knowledge of Docker containers and tools like Okteto or TestContainers.
- Experience in mobile app test automation with Maestro.
