Senior Data Engineer (dbt)

What you will do

• Design and maintain end-to-end data orchestration using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks Workflows.
• Build and optimize modular transformation layers using dbt (data build tool).
• Implement and manage Data Quality (DQ) processes within dbt to ensure reliable and trusted data.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data models.
• Ensure all data documentation is accurate and complete.

Requirements

• Proven experience with dbt Core, including writing macros, snapshots, and documentation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory pipelines, linked services, and integration runtimes.
• Experience implementing automated testing and Data Quality frameworks (e.g., dbt-tests, Great Expectations).
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex and performant queries.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data workflows within Azure DevOps.
• Python scripting for custom data tasks.
