What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
• Manage and optimize large-scale data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to implement effective data solutions.
• Utilize Python and PySpark for data engineering tasks, including scripting and automation.
• Leverage Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for advanced data processing.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Data Engineer in a production environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python and advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Unity Catalog.
• Deep expertise in Delta Tables, Delta Live Tables, and Medallion Architecture.
• Proficiency with dbt (Data Build Tool) and data warehousing concepts.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and performance tuning for large datasets.

Nice to have

• Experience with data governance and data cataloging tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Git version control systems.
