What you will do

• Lead the design and validation of foundation brake hardware including discs, calipers, and pads.
• Execute component validation testing (DV & PV) and perform detailed data analysis.
• Manage technical interfaces with Tier 1 suppliers to ensure component delivery.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as Bill of Design, DFMEA, and P-Diagrams.
• Support the introduction of new technologies like coated discs and alternative friction materials.
• Ensure all components meet regulatory, attribute, and system-level targets.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of foundation brake components and vehicle development processes.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, CAE tools, and GD&T (e.g., CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE).
• Experience with supplier quality processes such as APQP.
• Understanding of global automotive regulations (UNECE, FMVSS, ECE R90).
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
