What you will do

• Select, analyze, qualify, and approve electronic components with a focus on proactive risk management.
• Maintain and manage component documentation within the PLM system.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities by proposing equivalent components from alternative manufacturers.
• Support global EMS partners regarding component obsolescence, technical issues, and replacements.
• Handle PCN/PDN (Part Change/Discontinuation Notifications) and Last Time Buy (LTB) processes.
• Collaborate with product development to drive a multiple-source strategy for components.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in component engineering or similar responsibilities.
• University degree in Electrotechnical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of the electronics industry, cost drivers, and market dynamics.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Lund, Sweden.
