What you will do

• Own the architecture, configuration, and governance of the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Confluence, and Assets.
• Design standardized workflows, permission models, and role-based access controls to prevent configuration drift.
• Replace manual, error-prone bottlenecks with automation using Atlassian APIs and custom services.
• Build and maintain integrations between Atlassian tools and external systems like CI/CD pipelines and HR systems.
• Develop internal scripts for reporting and operational efficiency using Python, SQL, and Shell.
• Partner with technical writers to document standards in Confluence for stable AI and automation inputs.

Requirements

• Proven experience administering and extending Atlassian platforms at scale in complex environments.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing automation.
• Demonstrated ability to build tools that reduce manual effort, cycle time, or error rates.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts, monitoring, and infrastructure workflows.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical partners.
