TL;DR

SEO Channel Lead (SEO): Oversee SEO division strategy across client accounts and align internal priorities, using performance metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions) tied to business outcomes (leads, revenue, lifetime value). Focus on communicating SEO findings to C-level stakeholders, troubleshooting advanced SEO issues, coaching mid-level SEOs, and driving integrated, data-backed channel decisions with AI-enabled efficiencies.

What you will do

  • Own SEO strategy for client accounts and align internal teams on direction, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Measure and improve SEO effectiveness using rankings, traffic, conversions, and business metrics (leads, revenue, lifetime value).
  • Lead renewals and upsells for non-Client Engagement clients, supporting divisional revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with senior stakeholders through consistent touchpoints and active listening.
  • Troubleshoot advanced SEO issues and coach mid-level SEOs; translate complex SEO trends into clear narratives for clients.
  • Partner with Project Management on resourcing/staffing needs and adjust priorities based on hour trends and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in the US and able to work continental US based hours.
  • Hands-on SEO agency experience across areas such as content strategy, enterprise SEO, PR, paid media, and/or analytics.
  • Strong client management skills, including comfortable communication with C-level executives.
  • Advanced data visualization and storytelling ability (filters, reading data, communicating insights, joining data/relationships).
  • Proven coaching ability to support growth opportunities and channel strategy changes.
  • Ability to distill complex SEO issues, trends, and performance into a frame teams can act on and present to clients.

Culture & Benefits

  • Remote-first agency; role can also be placed in the Philadelphia HQ office if preferred.
  • Compensation: $95,000–$110,000 annually, final offer based on skills and experience.
  • Compensation evaluation at least once per year.
  • Use of AI tools may support parts of the hiring process, with final decisions made by humans.
