What you will do

  • Develop annual communications strategies for Spain and DACH regions to align product launches with business outcomes.
  • Cultivate and maintain media relationships with reporters and editors in tech, sustainability, and business.
  • Build and lead an earned influencer community of active advocates.
  • Manage PR agencies across multiple European markets to ensure high performance.
  • Provide executive counsel and media preparation for country managers and marketing leadership.
  • Oversee crisis communications planning and real-time response.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience leading integrated communications programs for European audiences.
  • Fluent English plus fluency in Spanish or German.
  • Proven track record of managing PR agencies in European markets.
  • Experience building earned influencer programs and managing journalist relationships.
  • Ability to translate complex sustainability topics into consumer-facing narratives.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Berlin.

Nice to have

  • French language skills.
  • Direct experience in crisis communications.
  • Passion for sustainability and the circular economy.
