What you will do

• Lead the architectural vision for the revenue engineering backend, specifically billing and metering systems.
• Build and maintain high-accuracy systems that sync usage data with payment providers like Stripe.
• Define and enforce standards for code quality, testing, and observability across the engineering organization.
• Drive economic efficiency and reliability in data infrastructure to support rapid scaling.
• Mentor engineers, review technical designs, and foster a security-first, high-trust culture.
• Bridge technical constraints with product goals to shape the long-term revenue engineering roadmap.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe
• Deep architectural expertise in building and scaling distributed backend systems using Go.
• Proven experience with billing systems or usage-based pricing models, ideally with Stripe API.
• Strong technical judgment in leveraging AI and agentic coding tools for development.
• Expertise in OpenTelemetry and monitoring practices.
• Product mindset with a focus on internal tool quality and data accuracy.
• Natural leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and improving team processes.
