Location: HQ in Lund, Sweden; requires approximately 20 traveling days per year, mostly within Sweden and Europe.

What you will do

• Define and execute R&D strategy across hardware and software, aligning it with company objectives.
• Manage the R&D budget, gross margins, and capacity planning across various technical teams.
• Lead and develop engineering managers and senior technical leaders to build a culture of accountability.
• Oversee technical delivery for customer engagements to ensure quality, scope control, and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sales and the PMO to align technical capabilities with market demand and secure accurate quotations.
• Drive the adoption of modern development tools and AI-supported workflows.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in relevant industries.
• Senior leadership experience across both hardware and software development.
• Experience working specifically in an engineering consultancy or services environment.
• Proven ability to scale teams, lead other leaders, and balance delivery with long-term capability.
• Must be based in or able to work from the HQ in Lund, Sweden.

• Experience with connected devices, verification labs, compliance, and industrialization.
