Junior AI & Data Consultant (Fintech): Building and deploying AI solutions and data pipelines for clients across various industries with an accent on Financial Services. Focus on developing consulting skills, working with Generative AI and Agentic AI, and provisioning the data backbone for advanced AI models.

Location: Must be based in the UK (London, Edinburgh, Leeds, or Manchester). Expected to work from the office at least four days a week.

What you will do

• Work directly with clients to understand challenges and shape AI and data-driven solutions.
• Build and deploy models, pipelines, dashboards, and data products.
• Support projects that transform data, processes, and technology.
• Contribute to analytics and insight generation to support real business decisions.
• Develop consulting skills in communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
• Work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams on client sites.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
• Minimum 2:1 degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering).
• MSc in a STEM, Computing, or Business-related discipline.
• Strong analytics, numeracy, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work from client locations.
• Foundational understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, SQL, and Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with PySpark and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with dashboard tools such as Power BI or Qlik.
• Understanding of the end-to-end data science lifecycle.
• Relevant certifications in AI or data technologies.
