What you will do

• Oversee daily accounting operations including bookkeeping, AP, and AR across multiple regions.
• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by identifying and submitting statutory returns and filings.
• Enforce internal controls and company-wide accounting policies.
• Streamline accounting workflows and implement automation and AI tools to improve reporting speed and quality.
• Provide management reporting and balance sheet analysis to leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, month-end close, and multi-region statutory reporting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting or ERP systems like NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero.
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and experience using AI tools for finance workflows.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Qualified ACCA, CPA, or CIMA certification.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience rolling out new accounting or ERP software.
• Background in crypto, blockchain, or fintech industries.
• Experience working in a remote, distributed, global team setup.
