What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product design for connected device experiences, including GPS trackers and pet devices, across mobile, web, and physical touchpoints.
• Define user journeys for the entire device lifecycle: unboxing, onboarding, setup, daily usage, and troubleshooting.
• Design scalable interaction models and UX frameworks that unify experiences between hardware and digital platforms.
• Rapidly prototype and test early-stage concepts using modern and AI-enabled design tools.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, hardware, and research teams to influence strategic direction.
• Mentor other designers and contribute to the evolution of the connected devices design system.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product design for consumer-facing digital products.
• Proven expertise in IoT or hardware-connected ecosystems.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating multi-platform or hardware-software UX/UI design.
• Deep understanding of how physical product constraints influence digital experience design.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to create scalable design frameworks.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design approaches.

Nice to have

• Experience with design partner programs or beta hardware testing.
• Direct experience with consumer IoT products.
