What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build foundational data infrastructure.
• Design and maintain APIs, distributed services, and large-scale data pipelines.
• Iterate rapidly and deploy backend features to production multiple times a day.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to data modeling and entity resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members during code reviews.

Requirements

• Must live within a commuting distance of the London office.
• At least three years of experience in backend-heavy or data-heavy engineering.
• Strong proficiency with cloud-based systems and services.
• Experience with TDD and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous technical requirements and balance quality with delivery.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on team-first software development.
