What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of product initiatives for the POS Android application, from problem definition to production.
• Lead the design and implementation of mobile-first systems, including transaction processing and hardware integrations.
• Drive architectural decisions and identify structural improvements for the Android codebase.
• Contribute across backend and web layers as a full-stack Product Builder.
• Mentor engineers and champion modern development practices, including the effective use of AI development tools.
• Operate as a self-contained unit, making decisions and running experiments to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping high-impact product experiences at scale.
• Deep mastery of Android development using Kotlin and modern frameworks.
• Proven ability to work across the full stack, including backend APIs and web surfaces.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns, testing strategies, and app lifecycle management.
• Experience operating in product-driven environments, such as startups or scale-ups.
• English proficiency required for effective communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-native IDEs like Cursor or Claude.
• Track record of driving technical debt reduction in long-lived production codebases.
• Experience working without dedicated Product Managers or Designers.
