What you will do

• Tackle the most difficult and critical Android/Kotlin programming tasks, investigate new technologies, and drive mobile tech strategy as subject matter expert on Android, Play Store, and Google policies.
• Provide technical leadership through pull request reviews, enforcing standards, coaching engineers, and advising on AI strategy.
• Manage GitHub repositories, add technical details to documentation, triage support tickets, suggest project sequencing and trade-offs, and coordinate releases.
• Leverage AI tools in development and testing, mentor juniors on AI usage, and explore new AI opportunities.

Requirements

• Based in or able to work hybrid from Woodbury, MN; Seattle, WA; or Boca Raton, FL
• Professional enterprise experience building Android apps in Kotlin delivered to Play Store
• Experience with multi-threaded/asynchronous code, profiling/optimizing performance, unit/instrumentation tests
• Git/GitHub, caching techniques, AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex), MVVM architecture
• Familiarity with microservices, CI/CD, REST APIs, compliance (accessibility, i18n, privacy, security)
• Ability to perform code reviews, mentor juniors, monitor logs/metrics/analytics
