What you will do

• Run daily and monthly invoicing and payments for power and flexibility services across the customer base.
• Monitor electricity market transactions, including imbalance, balancing mechanism, and capacity market payments.
• Verify meter data accuracy and lead manual replacement processes with Elexon when discrepancies are found.
• Analyze settlement flows to identify inefficiencies, trends, and business opportunities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for NESO, Elexon, and EPEX to resolve data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to automate settlement workflows and shape the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Strong analytical proficiency with Excel, SQL, and Python.
• Must be based in London to support a hybrid work arrangement.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to lead technical conversations with external counterparties.
• Proven experience in energy market settlements, specifically with knowledge of the GB energy market, NESO, and Elexon processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Access Financials accounting systems.
