What you will do

• Contribute to the DDG requirements baseline and deliver updated specifications for Combat System (CS) upgrades.
• Execute requirements analysis and architecture definition for subsystems in preparation for integration, test, and trials.
• Develop and maintain system functional and non-functional requirements and design artefacts.
• Support major program milestones, including design reviews, test readiness, and system readiness reviews.
• Implement approved Engineering Changes and collaborate with safety, human factors, and cyber specialists.

Requirements

• Up to 2 years of experience in Systems Engineering activities.
• Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.
• Australian citizenship is mandatory; ability to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
• Familiarity with systems engineering software tools such as DOORS or Cameo Systems Modeler.

Nice to have

• Experience with System Engineering in an ASDEFCON context.
• Experience with integration and evaluation of CS products into Naval Platforms or other complex military systems.
• Knowledge of C4ISREW or Combat System Warfare Domains (Anti-Air, Anti-Submarine, or Anti-Surface Warfare).
