What you will do

• Own the multi-quarter architectural strategy for the integrations platform.
• Design and maintain the authoring framework and SDK used by internal teams, contractors, and AI agents.
• Drive architectural direction for non-API integration patterns including browser-driven flows and webhooks.
• Coach the team through design reviews and pair programming on complex technical decisions.
• Collaborate with the engineering manager to manage strategic workstreams and maintenance rotations.
• Ensure platform operability and scalability while balancing technical debt and shared abstractions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States with availability in Eastern or Central time zones.
• 8+ years of experience building scalable, observable SaaS systems.
• Deep fluency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong experience with AWS primitives including Lambda, SQS, and S3.
• Hands-on experience with non-API integration patterns like webhooks, OAuth flows, and browser-driven automation.
• Experience designing SDKs or frameworks that enable third-party or partner extensions.
• Fluency with AI coding tools and a strategic perspective on AI-agent-based platform design.
