Remote Client Accountant - Argentina

Location: Remote, Argentina-based; availability required five days a week from 9am–5pm Eastern.

Salary: USD $2,500–$3,200 per month, depending on experience, plus quarterly profit-sharing bonus.

hirify.global is a fully remote cloud-accounting organization providing bookkeeping, payroll, bill-pay, invoicing, and sales tax filing services to US customers.

What you will do

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction entry for multiple client accounts.
• Process invoices, bill payments, payroll preparation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, month-end close tasks, and financial reports.
• Organize and track client work in Karbon, the practice management system.
• Respond to specific client questions and request information when needed.
• Collaborate with senior staff and ask for guidance when accounting records or client systems require clarification.

Requirements

• Must be based in Argentina and able to work 9am–5pm Eastern, five days per week.
• At least 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment with US-based clients.
• College degree required.
• Experience with transaction coding, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, month-end close, accrual journal entries, and financial reporting.
• At least 2 years of experience with QBO, Bill.com or Ramp, Gusto or another payroll platform, and other cloud-accounting technologies.
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, dependability, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Karbon and Double.
• Previous experience at a CPA or CAS firm.
