Salary: $168,000 - $198,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade ML models and AI services.
• Integrate LLM APIs into core products with a focus on cost, latency, and quality.
• Write clean, testable, and well-structured production software.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into ML solutions.
• Build evaluation frameworks and iterate rapidly on model performance.
• Automate pipelines and contribute to agentic workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years building production ML systems.
• Strong Python fluency with solid OOP instincts.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and structured outputs.
• Experience maintaining APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to a hirify.global hub location.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLOps platforms like MLflow or SageMaker.
• Background in document processing, OCR, or information extraction.
• Experience with PySpark or large-scale data processing.
• Ruby/Rails experience.
• Familiarity with compliance-sensitive domains like fintech or HR tech.
