What you will do

• Build and deploy large-scale machine learning models for text and numerical data into production.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze the impact of model metrics and failure modes on business KPIs.
• Perform data exploration and analysis for new features and model improvements.
• Establish scalable pipelines for data processing, analytics, model training, and validation.
• Track state-of-the-art approaches and implement applications to improve the modeling stack.
• Mentor junior scientists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of experience (or Master's with 3+ years, or Doctorate with 1+ year).
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
• 3+ years experience creating publications (e.g., patents, libraries, peer-reviewed academic papers) (preferred).
• 1+ year(s) experience developing and deploying live production systems as part of a product team (preferred).
• 1+ year(s) experience developing and deploying products or systems across multiple product cycle points (preferred).
