CAD Drafter I (Aerospace): Developing and maintaining engineering drawings and 3D models for ground support equipment with an accent on PTC Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM. Focus on creating detailed mechanical, structural, and fluid system designs to support New Glenn launch operations and advanced manufacturing tooling.

What you will do

• Create and maintain detail part and assembly models using PTC Creo Parametric 12.
• Support the development of Model-Based Definition (MBD) datasets and 3D annotations.
• Assist in mechanical and structural design layouts for launch pads and test stands.
• Contribute to fluid and electrical system design documentation.
• Participate in drawing reviews and ensure alignment with ASME standards.
• Leverage AI-assisted design tools to improve productivity and drawing quality.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee.
• 2-year AS degree in Computer Aided Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
• Foundational experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency in 3D parametric modeling software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and work instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality in aerospace design.

Nice to have

• 0–3 years of relevant technical design experience.
• Experience with PTC Creo or Pro/ENGINEER.
• Exposure to Windchill or similar PLM/PDM tools.
• Interest in MBD and 3D annotation practices.
• Background in piping, tubing, or electrical design tools.
