What you will do

• Create and maintain detail part and assembly models, drawings, and product structures using PTC Creo and Windchill.
• Develop Model-Based Definition (MBD) datasets with 3D annotations and semantic PMI.
• Execute mechanical and structural design tasks including steel frameworks, platforms, and custom machine assemblies.
• Perform fluid system design including piping routes, tubing assemblies, and P&ID interpretation.
• Support electrical system design including enclosure assemblies, cable tray routing, and panel layouts.
• Manage large CAD assemblies and support release and revision processing within the PLM system.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status.
• 2-year AS degree in Computer Aided Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent (or 4-year BS degree).
• 2+ years of experience in a technical design role using 3D parametric CAD software.
• Proficiency with technical standards, principles, and GD&T concepts.
• Experience creating fabrication and installation drawings and managing complex CAD assemblies.
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM version control workflows and ASME Y14 standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with PTC Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM.
• Knowledge of Creo Advanced Framework Extension (AFX) and ProPiping.
• Understanding of Model-Based Definition (MBD) practices.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or heavy industrial design.
• Interest in leveraging AI tools for design automation and quality checking.
