What you will do

• Define architecture, system simulation, and detailed design approaches for ASIC/FPGA projects.
• Evaluate process flows including high-level design, synthesis, place and route, timing, and power utilization.
• Create test and simulation plans to establish functional criteria and analyze performance.
• Lead technical subcontract management, including proposal evaluation and source selection.
• Participate in the development and improvement of organizational ASIC/FPGA processes.
• Identify and implement opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
• Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
• Expert understanding of ASIC/FPGA engineering concepts, principles, and lifecycle processes.
• Ability to apply project leadership principles including Earned Value and Cost Account Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for consulting with management and customers.
