Senior Software Engineer (Java) (iGaming)

Location: Marousi, Greece; hybrid work

What you will do

• Design and develop functionality using established coding standards and patterns.
• Write unit and integration tests for Java code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute across the full software development life cycle.
• Design, build, and operate products and services hosted on-premises and in the cloud.
• Review and refactor code to improve reliability, robustness, performance, and operability.
• Deliver incremental value in an agile, self-organizing team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience using Java.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Java and experience developing RESTful applications with Spring Boot or related frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases and non-relational databases, including SQL, DDL, and ACID concepts.
• Comfort working in Unix/Linux environments and agile teams.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related scientific or engineering field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience developing microservices with Docker containers.
• DevOps experience and familiarity with Maven or Jenkins.
