Senior Software Engineer

TL;DR

Location: Willingness to work on-site in Oud Gastel (4 days in the office, 1 day remote)

What you will do

• Build applications using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
• Lead the development team, managing priorities, progress, and quality.
• Propose technical approaches and collaborate on architecture and implementation.
• Design and optimize data models in PostgreSQL.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Coach developers and support their growth.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering, including leading a team.
• Experience building and maintaining production applications with a solid understanding of running software 24/7.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Django, and/or FastAPI.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Willingness to work on-site in Oud Gastel (4 days in the office, 1 day remote)
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and AWS.
• Experience with IoT or large-scale data platforms.
