What you will do

• Design and scale customer-facing data products that transform raw social media signals into actionable insights.
• Build and optimize large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark, Airflow, and cloud-native architectures.
• Develop intelligent systems to extract demographics, interests, and behavioral insights from unstructured datasets.
• Contribute to AI-assisted search and recommendation capabilities using LLMs and modern machine learning workflows.
• Own projects from architecture and implementation to deployment and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate across Data Insights and Search teams to deliver high-performing, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or distributed systems.
• Strong expertise with Spark technologies (PySpark, Scala, or Databricks).
• Proven experience building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data platforms.
• Practical experience with AWS services (EMR, Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena).
• Familiarity with LLM-powered systems, AI-driven search, and machine learning workflows.
• Must be based in Europe or able to work with significant overlap with Eastern European working hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP Vertex AI, Apache Iceberg, or Terraform/Pulumi.
• Proficiency in Node.js or TypeScript.
