What you will do
- Own the commercial performance, EBITDA growth, and operational efficiency across the South African school network.
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional leadership team, ensuring accountability and alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive network-wide enrolment strategy, family acquisition, and retention efforts.
- Partner with the Director of Schools to ensure educational integrity and student outcomes remain high while scaling the business.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including government, regulatory bodies, and the parent community.
- Develop and execute annual and multi-year strategic plans in partnership with the CEO.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience in a multi-site commercial operation such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, or education.
- Direct accountability for income statements and capital expenditure at a country or regional level.
- Proven track record of driving revenue or enrolment growth in competitive markets.
- Strong commercial sharpness with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
- Exceptional relational and emotional intelligence for managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Must be based in Johannesburg, South Africa or willing to work from this location.
