TL;DR

Enterprise Architect: Shaping and maintaining a coherent, enterprise-wide architectural direction with an accent on translating business strategy and operating model evolution into clear architectural intent. Focus on providing architectural stewardship, governance, and advisory support to ensure consistent decision-making across complex portfolios and initiatives.

Location: Must be based in the UK, with hybrid working (1 day per week in the London office).

What you will do

  • Define and evolve enterprise-wide architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.
  • Ensure coherence across business, application, data, integration, and security domains.
  • Translate business strategy and regulatory drivers into actionable architectural roadmaps.
  • Provide design assurance and governance across programmes to ensure conformance to target architectures.
  • Act as a senior advisor to leadership, influencing technology strategy in a matrixed environment.
  • Identify and manage systemic architectural risks and dependencies across the organization.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Proven experience in architecture, including platform-based architecture and data governance.
  • Strong knowledge of MDM, integration patterns, and API architecture.
  • Experience translating business strategy and regulatory drivers into architectural implications.
  • Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
