What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of technical challenges from initial requirements to production shipping.
• Design, develop, and deploy security-focused applications of increasing complexity.
• Extend and improve existing systems to enhance performance and add new functionality.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility across all software deliverables.
• Collaborate on architecture, database design, and overall technical direction.
• Monitor post-deployment performance and iterate based on outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL database design, analysis, and querying.
• Proven experience with CI/CD practices and writing secure, testable code.
• Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency status.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with data warehousing or large-scale data systems.
• Background or interest in application security best practices.
