What you will do

• Own and define hirify.global's content policy to balance creator freedom with platform safety.
• Translate policy into enforceable guidance for moderation tools, automation, and LLM prompt iteration.
• Track emerging behaviors, edge cases, and product changes to update policies proactively.
• Manage a lightweight policy review cadence to ensure audit readiness.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Legal on classifier tuning, feature risk, and regulatory needs.
• Create clear documentation for moderators to ensure consistent and scalable enforcement outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in content or Trust & Safety policy at a tech company.
• Deep understanding of content moderation systems and how policy maps to enforcement.
• Experience with ML-driven moderation, including writing classifier-ready policy and evaluating performance.
• Ability to write clear, practical, and nuanced policy documentation.
• Proficiency in using data, trend analysis, and QA signals to judge policy impact.
• Strong judgement in ambiguous situations with incomplete information.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM-based moderation and prompting for classification.
• Knowledge of Online Safety Act, EU DSA, EU AI Act, or Ofcom Codes of Practice.
• Experience working with UGC or adult content platforms.
