What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable IaaS and PaaS solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Lead the development, versioning, and lifecycle management of Terraform modules to ensure consistent deployments.
• Automate secure machine image creation using Packer and design seamless CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate secrets management via HashiCorp Vault and manage identity via SAML/SSO.
• Lead and mentor direct reports to grow their skill sets and advance their careers.
• Collaborate with networking and SRE teams to improve system reliability, observability, and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in a 24x7 application delivery environment.
• Proven track record of building and managing highly effective teams.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Go, Ruby, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Git, Ansible, or Chef.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IS, or 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Location: Must be based in Belfast, UK

Nice to have

• AWS, GCP, or other cloud / DevSecOps related certifications.
• Certified Scrum Master, Lean/Kanban, PMI-ACP, or PMP.
