Lead Field Technician (Offshore)

TL;DR

Lead Field Technician (Offshore): Executing critical end-fitting termination activities and managing multi-pipe campaigns with an accent on quality, safety, and technical expertise in the field. Focus on coordinating global mobilizations, supervising (trans)spooling installation, and developing operational procedures.

Location: Hybrid (IJmuiden, Netherlands). Requires minimum 3 office days per week and willingness to travel for overseas operations.

Salary: €3,500 – €4,200 per month

What you will do

• Lead and execute overseas end-fitting termination operations, including repairs and witnessing during installation.
• Act as the primary onsite interface for clients and stakeholders, ensuring safety and quality.
• Maintain readiness for global field deployment and deliver detailed daily reporting.
• Coordinate mobilizations, including equipment logistics, stock control, and personnel travel/visa arrangements.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing and enforcing operational and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in installation, onsite fabrication, or engineering.
• Direct exposure to offshore or remote-site operations.
• Proven ability to mobilize equipment for overseas Oil & Gas operations.
• Availability to work away from home for several weeks at a time.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
