What you will do

• Scheduling of production orders, determining production sequences considering deadlines, production, and material capacities.
• Managing orders in SAP.
• Forecasting and schedule monitoring, with internal coordination with relevant departments.
• Initiating corrective measures in responsible departments in the event of schedule deviations.
• Optimising master data, such as safety stock, lead times, and standard delivery times.
• Collaborating in defining a company-wide S&OP process and assuming the resulting role for planning.

Requirements

• Master craftsman/technician or a degree in engineering.
• Several years of professional experience in scheduling and production control in mechanical machining, forming, assembly, or welding.
• Very good knowledge of SAP R3 / SAP 4HANA, particularly the PP / SD / MM modules.
• Proactive and independent working style.
• Experience with supply chain processes and supplier management.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
