What you will do

• Build custom WordPress themes from scratch without using page builders.
• Create structured, reusable content components using ACF Pro.
• Develop custom Gutenberg blocks to extend editor functionality.
• Implement Figma designs with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
• Optimize website performance, focusing on loading times, caching, and asset handling.
• Collaborate with frontend/UI and delivery teams to write clean, maintainable, and extendable code.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with custom WordPress development.
• Strong PHP skills following WordPress coding standards.
• Practical experience with ACF Pro (mandatory).
• Solid command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience building custom themes from the ground up.
• Understanding of performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing Gutenberg blocks.
• Basic DevOps knowledge regarding deployments and environments.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as banking or fintech.
