What you will do

• Deliver new features and build scalable applications for the SafeRide platform.
• Develop maintainable code utilizing RESTful API patterns, SOLID principles, and event-driven architectures.
• Design, build, and maintain production-level web services and APIs at scale.
• Support cloud-native application development and infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Improve system reliability, security, performance, and scalability across all services.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and QA teams in an agile environment via code reviews and testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering secure, scalable web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, or PHP.
• Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS services (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, CloudFront, Redshift).
• Experience working in highly secure, regulated healthcare environments.
• Proven track record of building production web services using asynchronous patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience working with microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems and WebSocket services.
• Experience contributing to scalable distributed systems.
