What you will do

• Design and build a scalable, efficient, and robust robotaxi dispatch service.
• Craft algorithms for real-time dispatch optimization and route planning using operational research techniques.
• Apply linear programming, integer programming, stochastic processes, and queuing theory to solve complex dispatch problems.
• Use operational research tools for demand forecasting and modeling transport networks.
• Integrate optimization algorithms into the robotaxi platform.
• Build and utilize simulation models to test and validate the effectiveness of dispatch algorithms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Proven experience in algorithm development with a strong emphasis on operational research methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Kotlin, or C++.
• Solid background in machine learning, AI, and data analysis.
• Strong mathematics, analytical, and quantitative problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GIS and mapping software.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or autonomous vehicles.
• Expertise in building or using fleet simulation tools.
• Knowledge of cloud services, microservice design patterns, and database access.
• Experience handling large data sets and scaling services horizontally.
