What you will do

• Design and implement mainly backend automated testing solutions for Charlotte AI using Go, Python, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Kafka, OpenSearch, SQL databases, Redis, and AWS.
• Validate integrations between Charlotte AI and other teams, services, and products.
• Create functional and non-functional test plans covering performance, scalability, and stability.
• Execute automated tests, track defects, analyze regressions and trends, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on scope, timelines, testability, and quality.
• Participate in code reviews and evaluate emerging automation techniques.

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality assurance, test automation, or SDET experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Go, Python, Java, or another modern programming language and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket, plus AWS services including S3, EC2, and IAM.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, operating systems, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile development, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities; the role also requires periodic background and fingerprint checks for government customer requirements.
