What you will do

• Set the technical direction for complex ML projects and guide team priorities.
• Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable ML and software systems.
• Define project problems, develop roadmaps, and oversee delivery in high-risk environments.
• Drive the development of shared resources and libraries across the organisation.
• Lead hiring processes and mentor engineers to foster professional growth.
• Act as a technical expert and coach for customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Expert Python skills with practical experience in Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Expertise in at least one major Cloud provider (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to manage and coach a team of engineers.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in London for hybrid work.
