What you will do

• Explore, develop, and deliver cutting-edge technology using deep learning to personalize user recommendations.
• Own defined ML problems end-to-end, from data exploration and feature engineering to production deployment.
• Apply modern frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow to design, train, and optimize production models.
• Contribute to experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and offline evaluation.
• Maintain and monitor production models to ensure reliability and performance at scale.
• Apply responsible AI practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and safety in all model development.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
• Around 3 years of hands-on experience building and shipping machine learning models in production.
• Strong programming skills in Python and solid proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Industry experience in researching or applying machine learning, particularly in recommender systems or ranking.
• Good understanding of MLOps, CI/CD for ML, feature stores, and model serving.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native environments like Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with recommendation systems, search, or personalization.
• Expertise in modern architectures such as transformers, graph neural networks, or contrastive learning.
