Staff Data Scientist (Marketing)

What you will do

• Set the 2–3 year technical roadmap for marketing measurement and define North Star metrics for budget allocation.
• Build and refine Media Mix Models (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) to quantify incremental impact of marketing spend.
• Design unified frameworks bridging B2B marketing (advertisers) and B2C growth (users), identifying synergies.
• Lead complex incrementality testing, geo-holdout experiments, and methodologies for brand halo effects.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, and Finance to translate insights into actionable budget decisions.
• Mentor junior scientists and set technical standards for code and statistical rigor.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• 10+ years industry experience (M.S.) or 6+ years (Ph.D.) in marketing science, growth data science, or econometrics.
• Deep expertise in marketing ecosystem: MMM, Incrementality Testing, Customer Lifetime Value prediction.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R, SQL; building production data pipelines and ML for predictive modeling.
• Proven track record influencing C-suite with strategic communication of complex stats.
• Experience in fast-paced environments navigating ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bayesian structural time series or causal inference libraries.
• Previous role in high-growth marketplace or social media platform.
