TL;DR
Employee Experience Specialist (People Ops): Managing the operational aspects of the Amsterdam office and company-wide employee experience with an accent on event planning, budget ownership, and internal communications. Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam; this role is not open for fully remote work

What you will do
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Amsterdam office, including the WeWork relationship, supplies, and atmosphere.
- Plan and execute end-to-end company events, including All Hands, monthly socials, and the annual offsite.
- Own the Employee Experience (EX) budget, tracking spend vs. budget and reporting data.
- Coordinate internal communications across Slack, Notion, and email to ensure consistent branding and cadence.
- Manage external vendors such as catering, venues, and swag suppliers, conducting annual reviews.
Requirements
- 3-4+ years of experience in Office Management, People Ops, or Event Coordination, ideally in a scale-up.
- Proven track record of owning budgets end-to-end and managing events for 50+ people.
- Fluent English; Dutch language proficiency is strongly preferred for office and vendor management.
- Proficiency with Slack, Notion (or similar), Google Workspace/M365, and Excel for budget tracking.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Amsterdam office.
Nice to have
- Relevant degree in Hospitality, Events, Business, Communications, or HR.
- Experience with HRIS tools like HiBob, Personio, or BambooHR.
- Basic design skills using Canva or Figma for event materials.
