Quality Analyst II (Healthcare)

Quality Analyst II (Healthcare QA): Evaluating integrity and excellence of digital products for healthcare clients with an accent on investigative consulting, strategic risk analysis, and end-user advocacy. Focus on diagnosing critical issues, designing performance and API tests, integrating AI-automated frameworks, and ensuring security and accessibility.

Location: Able to work from any location in Virginia, Tennessee, or North Carolina (fully-office, fully-remote, or hybrid). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Modern office in Blacksburg, VA. Occasional travel to offices or client sites for training or visits.

What you will do

• Conduct strategic risk analysis, consult with clients/teams on quality improvements, and advocate for end-user experience including functionality, design, and ADA accessibility.
• Perform exploratory testing across browsers/devices to diagnose root causes of bugs.
• Design/execute performance tests with JMeter, API testing for data integrity, and evaluate web security vulnerabilities.
• Build/maintain automated test suites using Mabl/Appium and integrate AI tools to optimize testing.
• Author reproducible bug reports, technical guides, and lead quality best practices throughout SDLC.

Requirements

• 2+ years of context-driven testing experience or equivalent education.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical thinking, test design, consulting mindset, technical versatility in APIs/web security/automation.
• Methodical precision and focus in structured environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or consulting agency.
• JMeter for performance, Postman for APIs, web security, accessibility guidelines, automated suites.
• Modeling/test design/mind maps, Rapid Software Testing (RST), AI tools for testing.
