What you will do

• Own end-to-end accounting for French legal entities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with French GAAP (Plan Comptable Général) and IFRS/US GAAP.
• Prepare and submit statutory financial statements and manage external audit processes for French entities.
• Handle VAT filings and tax declarations while liaising with local tax advisors and authorities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the external accounting firm, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with legal, HR, and operations teams to support business activities in France.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with significant exposure to French entities and French GAAP.
• Native or near-native French speaker.
• Professional-level English required for communication with international leadership.
• Solid experience with general ledger management and month-end close in fast-paced environments.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (DCG/DSCG qualification is a plus).
• Must be based in France to manage local statutory and tax compliance.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Background in international companies or professional services firms such as audit or consulting.
