Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Golang/React): Building and optimizing application distribution and orchestration platforms for millions of customer devices with an accent on scalable backend services and modern frontend interfaces. What you will do

• Build, release, and support large-scale customer-facing products using Go and TypeScript/React.
• Design maintainable APIs and integrations within Kubernetes and AWS environments.
• Improve code quality, observability, and CI/CD release reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in live systems, including incident support and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product and design peers to contribute to the technical direction of the platform.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience designing and operating distributed applications on AWS.
• Deep expertise in Go for backend development.
• Strong frontend experience using TypeScript with a modern framework.
• Proven track record of building and troubleshooting automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical architectural decisions.
• Required: Valid right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and serverless architectures.
• Proficiency with AWS CDK, Pulumi, or Terraform.
• Solid experience with MySQL or similar RDBMSs.
• Familiarity with architectural practices such as ADRs and RFCs.
