What you will do

• Extract and process distressed debt and bankruptcy filings from US courts and financial databases.
• Review and structure legal and financial documents, including Chapter 11 filings and restructuring plans.
• Maintain data integrity across the distressed debt coverage universe, collaborating with editorial and product teams.
• Build structured records of debtor entities, creditor hierarchies, and case timelines.
• Collaborate with technology teams to improve data extraction workflows and tooling.
• Support ad hoc data requests from journalists, analysts, and client-facing teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Belfast.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to handling large volumes of data.
• Experience in data entry, data operations, or research, ideally within financial services, legal, or media.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads against deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working with legal and financial documents, such as bankruptcy filings and court dockets.
