Associate Producer (Video Production)

What you will do

• Build and manage production budgets, track costs, and flag risks early
• Partner with directors and stakeholders to align on creative approach and feasibility
• Lead pre-production planning for schedules, logistics, staffing, and needs
• Scout locations, secure permits, and set up production
• Source, vet, and book crew, cast, vendors, rentals, and freelancers
• Oversee shoot logistics including travel, equipment, and call times
• Lead shoot execution, solve problems in real time, and support post-production handoff

Requirements

• Based in the Bay Area (required), currently only reviewing SF-based applicants
• 3 to 5 years of experience in video production or producing
• Strong experience managing budgets, schedules, and production logistics
• Experience booking crew, cast, locations, vendors, and rentals
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Calm, proactive, and dependable under pressure; clear communicator and team player
