Salary: $130k - $150k

What you will do

• Design and architect scalable, distributed backend systems and microservices for enterprise-level workloads.
• Develop performant Java Spring RESTful APIs and backends-for-frontends.
• Build AWS infrastructure as code using Python, Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Lead technical design reviews and contribute to platform architecture decisions across multiple teams.
• Ensure system stability through proactive monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver projects independently from requirements to deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with the ability to deliver projects independently.
• Deep proficiency in Java and the Spring framework for building RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud computing concepts.
• Experience using Python for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with DynamoDB and event-driven architectures using AWS SQS/SNS.

Nice to have

• Experience working with globally distributed teams or managing near-shore and off-shore contractors.
