We are looking for a person for the position of Chief Risk Manager, who will fully cover both methodologically and practically the risk management direction: detection, monitoring, warning, measurement, management, minimization. Functionally, the direction covers both the development of internal documents and periodic reporting (internal and to the Regulator). All functionality is provided for by Resolution 185 of the NBU.
Role Description
A non-bank financial institution that has licenses for consumer lending and the provision of factoring services, specializing mainly in providing consumer loans to residents of Ukraine and has a transparent, confirmed ownership structure without foreign capital, is looking for a Chief Risk Manager (CRO) - a person who will head the risk management system, ensure its effectiveness and compliance with the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Requirements
• Higher education (economics, finance, or law).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in risk management in CRO / Compliance / Audit / Risk departments.
• Impeccable business reputation, no NBU requirements.
• Deep knowledge of NBU regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in risk analysis tools, modeling, stress-testing.
• Analytical thinking, strategic approach, leadership skills.
Main responsibilities
• Development and implementation of internal documents on risk management.
• Formation, implementation and development of a risk management system (credit, liquidity, operational, etc.)
• Ensuring compliance of risk management policies with NBU requirements and internal regulations.
• Preparation of reports, analysis, proposals.
